This is a cool little book that showcases a ton of spooky Halloween ideas for all fans of Lego: from cats, bats, witches, ghost ships, monster laboratories, and more. As with these books, it also onlinees with small build-set consisting of a skeleton and its grave. Nothing new here, but it was appreciated nonetheless. (Though I still can’t believe Lego hasn’t yet made a black cat monster Minifigure for Halloween; the Girl in Cat Costume notwithstanding since she is black and white. It would have been purrfect here.)

One thing that might frustrate younger readers, is, there are no instructions in the book on how to build the various models depicted, you just have to try to mimic them. (There may be instructions posted later on online.) It’s also worth mentioning a lot of the models shown use specialized parts, so if you want to make them exact, you’ll probably have to go to third-party sites like Bricklink and others to buy the needed parts.

Overall the book is a good value for what you get, and a fun and festive way to celebrate Halloween with your Legos.
