   Do you have any insight on why the regular price from Target is $24 and the regular price from Amazon is $40? I sometimes wonder if Amazon changes their regular prices to make it look like a better deal. I’m a huge sucker for deals and will snatch things up that are half off but won’t look twice at something that’s only 15% off. But I want it to be a TRUE deal, you know what I mean?

We checked into the pricing history of this item a bit more, and it looks like it has been around $39.99 fairly often. Sometimes, retailers also use the “median” price as the regular price (we’ve seen that at Walmart quite a bit), so that may be what’s happening at Target.
