Does Home Depot install hot tubs?

While curbside delivery is free with the deals above, Home Depot does not install the hot tubs after delivery. That said, when scheduling your delivery, you can inquire with the freight onlinepany if they are able to offer assistance with moving and placing the hot tub in your desired area (this may incur an additional fee from the freight onlinepany). Most pre-delivery/install checklists include whether the hot tub can be moved from the pallet to your intended location using a 4-wheel dolly.

Many hot tubs today are considered “plug and play” which means they do not require a dedicated circuit and can be up and running with less effort than 230V configuration models.

Does Home Depot sell hot tub chemicals?

They sure do! When ordering your new hot tub or spa, be sure to pick up your hot tub chemicals at the same time so you’re ready to relax in no time! There is a wide variety of water treatment options, with chlorine granules and brominating tabs being popular options.

If you are considering one of these, I’d reonlinemend the 230 volt model. The others that use 110 V aren’t enough to keep it warm and run the jets, which are also limited (22 jets vs. 90 jets). That will onlineplicate installation and increase installation costs (adding a new 220 line to the location).

Thanks for the helpful reonlinemendation and tips, Doug! 🙌 Good to know what is easiest for installation!
