It’s Green Monday, But Where Are All The Deals?!

If you follow along with Hip2Save all year long, you’ll always know where the best deals are when shopping for gifts any time of the year!

But if you enjoy the thrill of procrastinating or missed out on the Cyber Monday and Black Friday deals we posted, Green Monday is another opportunity to check off all the last-minute items on your list!

Green Monday 2024 is today – December 9th!

What is Green Monday, you ask?

The idea of Green Monday came about in 2007 after eBay noticed that it was their biggest sales day of the year. Over the past few years, Green Monday has emerged as the third-largest shopping day of the year, behind Black Friday and Cyber Monday. It has since beonlinee known as “Cyber Monday 2″.

This shopping “holiday” always falls on the second Monday of December, with approximately 10 shipping days left before Christmas.

That usually puts Green Monday two weeks after Cyber Monday on the calendar, giving many shoppers a chance to receive another paycheck and one last chance to finish up their online shopping in time to get their gifts shipped, wrapped, and under the tree in time for Christmas.

So, where are the Green Monday deals for this year?

While there are lots of other deals going on today, we’ve been pretty underwhelmed by most of the dedicated Green Monday 2024 sales so far. Most retailers seem to be running regular sales or extending their Cyber week deals, rather than offering exclusive, significant discounts just for today.

However, we did find a few stores offering today-only sales and extra savings this week to help you finish up your holiday shopping!

Walmart has just added several new items to their “Holiday Savings” section and dropped prices on many items, with some priced lower than Black Friday!

Belk is offering an extra 60% off online with the promo code GREENMONDAY today only.

Land’s End is offering 50% off everything sitewide with the promo code STARLIGHT today only.

Chewy is offering a free $30 eGift Card with a $100 purchase with the promo code CHEER today only, along with other continued Buy 1, Get 1 Free deals and new customer promotions.

Build a Bear is offering an $11 Flash Sale online only today for Green Monday.

Zappos is offering $40 off $200, $70 off $300, or $125 off $500 with the promo codes 24SAVE40, 24SAVE70, or 24SAVE125 today only. Plus, their up to 70% off Cyber Sale is still going on.

Target has a new $10 off $50 or $25 off $100 Toy Coupon through December 14th and is continuing to offer new Deals of the Day every day.

Old Navy continues to offer daily and weekly only deals. Today’s deal is 50% off jeans for the family.

Best Buy is holding an Apple Shopping Event from today through December 15 and continuing their 25 Days of Deals through December 25 with a new 24-hour deal each day and new Doorbusters every Friday.

JCPenney is offering up to 60% off sitewide through December 11th, plus you can score an extra 30% off most items, and an extra 40% off select jewelry with the promo code AMBROSIA at checkout.

Converse is offering 50% off most items + a Free Bag with Orders $75+ for Rewards Members (free to join) through December 11th.
