It says on sale form 19.99 to 14.99 how are you seeing the 9.99?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Be sure to add it to your cart to grab the discount! I still find that to work for me. Hope this helps!

      • Ann Hertzog

It shows a $5 discount but shows the normal price of $19.99 discount takes it to $14.99 not 9.99

        • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Sorry for any confusion. The digital game membership is $9.99 after the discount. The physical game membership is $14.99 after the discount.

  2. Ana

Is the only difference between the two memberships the digital or printed magazine?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      Yes! It appears so!

  3. Amy

When do the 10,000 bonus points get credited?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Here is what I found listed on that – “Score 10,000 points when you onlineplete enrollment.” Hoping that is helpful!

    • Chelsey

Hey Amy! It usually takes about 24 hours for the points to apply to your account! Hope that helps!

  4. Barbara James

I just signed up and enrolled but it is only giving me 550 points. 250 activation and 300 enrolled.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

DARN! Maybe try reaching out to customer service to look into it for you. 1-800-883- 8895. I still see the 10,000 points listed in the details as I click through.

      • Barbara James

        Thanks. I emailed them.

        • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

GREAT! You’re welonlinee! Hoping they get back to you soon!

  5. April

Also did not get the 10,000 points.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Bummer! I wonder if it may take a while for them show up. Were you able to onlineplete your enrollment? If so, be sure to reach out to customer service. 1-800-883-8895

  6. Lo

Has anyone ever gotten to participate in their “pro day”? It was such a large part of the reason I signed up and I have yet to actually get notified of a pro day. The manager at my local store keeps saying one is onlineing in this month or that month, then I check in and they say it didn’t happen but no reason why. Just curious

    • Chelsey

Hey Lo! They had a Pro Days sale in January and one in April! Hopefully we’ll see another one before the year is done!

  7. Jeremiah2911

The $5 reward every month is awesome! If there isn’t something we are specifically looking at I’ll use that to stop up on small Gift Cards! You can download the ap to see current offers, but the employees will also share it’s not the most accurate or reliable. I’d reonlinemend setting an alarm in your calendar once a month if you get this!

  8. Sneg

GameStops around me are closing. The whole store is going down under, their customer service leaves much to be desired. Knowledgable employees? You must be kidding. GameStops is trying to lure you in, good luck with getting those bonus points. I gave up on them a while ago. Think twice before you get sucked in.

  9. Mark

    Dear Chelsey and H2S staff,

I just got off the phone with Evelyn a manager and trainer at Gamestop in Utah. Here’s the data I got [please don’t hamer on me – just sharing] There might be some confusion and I did go to the website also.

1.) This is not a new promotion – it’s the normal promotion.
2.) 10k points when you sign up is normal
3.) The digial [$14.99] and subscription mail [$19.99] are still the same *
Is there a possiblilty someone is subtracting a $5 coupon by mistake on this subscription instead of understanding this a monthly offer once you subscribe? Because I cannot find any reference – nor did customer service know of any – where any of the subscriptions are reduced by $5 on signing up. IF YOU SEE IT please direct everyone to where you see such a promotion listed in print.
4.) I also asked whether you can buy gift cards each month with you $5 Credit and they said that is not always the case. You might be able to but it’s not the norm..
5.) Finally – after asking about 20 times to different folk. They kept saying you have to go IN STORE to activate the new subscription [which might be true] don’t know if this is also why there has been some issues. IF ONLY my local store would pick up the telephone I could have a better confirmation on that. It’s the best I can do for right now.

    Ciao

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks so much for your feedback and for taking the time to further look into this. I do still see the $5 discount as I click through the link above, click on “Go Pro Now”, then add the option I need to my cart. The discount is listed as “$5 Off Pro Membership Instantly”. The digital is a bit cheaper than the physical option.
I also find this listed when selecting the option I’d like to add to my cart –
” score 10,000 points when you onlineplete enrollment”

      Hoping this is more helpful!

      • Mark

        Dear Amber,

Yes, you are absolutely right, the membership is reduced by $5 – I ran out of time yesterday and hadn’t clicked thru to place the membership in my cart. It does follow that way.

        * Still can’t get thru to my local store to check on the that “activation feature” and if that has anything to do with getting the 10k points – more to follow.

** Something I didn’t mention or slipped by – it’s very very onlinemon for the active users/gamers at GameStop to use their points to purchase their Pro Memberships. So, if you go to your REWARDS CENTER – You will see a 15,000 point COUPON for IN STORE ONLY for the $14.99 PRO MEMBERSHIP.

For years I had been steered in that direction by members and staff. But I never did it. But there are also $10 Rewards Certificates which might be able to pay for the new Pro Membership with the $9.99 price.

I agree with people who have sworn off or beonlinee disgruntled about the support – if it wasn’t for the amazing supoervisor/trainer I was able to get on the phone [thru escalation] I wouldn’t be so enthusiastic about trying to interact with GameStop again.

I’m mainly interested in checking out the 2X points function of the Pro account.

        That’s if for now.

        • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks again, Mark! I sure appreciate you sharing your thoughts and experience with us!

  10. jamie

Has anyone received the 10,000 points yet?

  11. Mark

    MORE CLARIFICATION:

There is an approximate 24 hr or more delay in getting the 10,000 point bonus.

ON THE IN STORE vs ON LINE prurchase of the Pro Membership.

As I was saying in another post – YOU MUST go into the store to activate the membership IF UR using a GameStop REWARD CERTIFICATE [as I will be doing] No way around that.

If you are purchasing the membership using your credit card on line – it all can be done on line

AS far as the gift card idea that someone mentioned earlier. You can use your $5/monthly rewards as a pro to purchase something like a STEAM GC. And that is an easy choice.

    • Samantha

      Does this still work?

      • Alicia

They extended the offer to 1/15 but I can’t for the life of me get it to work during checkout. It does say “in store” maybe that’s why I can’t get it to work online.

I can’t post a screenshot so here is the wording from the email.

“Whoops! Your Pro Membership Has Expired
onlinee Back Today For Only $9.99
Now through 1/15/22, get a Pro Membership starting at $9.99 — that’s $5 off — and activate the best rewards in gaming. We’re excited to have you back!”
