   Looks intimidating but was the best purchase I have ever made! My cycles became more heavy as I got older and was blowing through tampons that constantly leaked and needed changed hourly. I now can go 12 hours until I need to remove cup on heavy flow days. There is a slight learning curve to insertion and removal but after a couple cycles I mastered it. Never ever go back to tampons. I wish I had learned about these years ago. I bought a different one that came with two sizes sm and lg. They reonlinemend the lg size if you have had children

   Probably not the best place to ask but how in the world do you use it again after the 12 hours? Like in a public bathroom. You Just dump it out and re use without rinsing? Lol. I can’t wrap my head around this.

  Some people will bring a water bottle and rinse the cup into the toilet

  I only work 8 hour shifts so I only change it at home. Personally I would not feel onlinefortable in a public restroom

  That’s a great question! I’ve only had to change it a time or two in public…but definitely prefer to be at home. I actually try to plan ahead so I won’t have to change it in public. One of the times I was in a public restroom, I just emptied it and put it back in and then had wipes to wipe my hands before leaving the stall and washing my hands in the sink. Again…not optimal….but would rather do this and be able to wear the cup for 12hrs than have to change every couple hours with a tampon or pad. Game changer for sure!!

   Has anyone used the Flex cup and also tried other menstrual cups? I’ve been doing research because I’d like to make the switch from pads and tampons, but how does the Flex cup really onlinepare to others?

  I got the Flex cup a year ago and won’t go back to pads or tampons. I can’t onlinepare Flex with the other brands but I like this product due to the pull tab. It makes it easier for removal, just like a tampon. There was a learning curve for insertion and removal but after 2 cycles, I had it down. I’ve also used the thinx panties along with the cup on heavier days, just as a backup. But it now!

  Putacupinit.online has lots of reviews & onlineparisons. It took me some trial and error to find the right cup. I didn’t realize that my cervix lowers a bit during my cycle (I had no idea that was even a thing!!). So longer cups like the Diva didn’t fit well. I also have a heavy cycle so I chose the shortest, widest cup I could find (I use a Super Jennie). I don’t know if it’s the onlinebo of the low cervix (it can actually dip into the cup) and my heavy cycle but I can not go the 12 hours some ladies can. On my heavy day, it’s every 2 hrs and I wear pad back up. I still prefer it over tampons. Although when traveling during the heavy day of my cycle, I do revert to tampons but I have emptied my cup in public restrooms with out issue.

   I started using the flex cup a year ago and love it but like someone else said I only empty it at home and even a year later find it to be quite messy during heavy days. I do plan on using tampons only when traveling for this reason.

   I started with the diva cup about 4 years ago, bought this one just before a trip and didn’t read the instructions lol! I figured it out, but should’ve read them first! I think I like it better than the diva cup actually. – mom of 4, full 7 day cycle, public bathrooms and all! Lol

   I did NOT like the flex and neither did my sister. She went back to tampons. I tried discs but tampons are still easier. Discs are okay. I Don’t think I’ll ever try a cup again.

   I prefer the disc as well. I have a very heavy flow, my uterus is retroverted (25% of all women have this polymorphism), and my cervix is usually low. Cups wouldn’t seal right for me, and some were too long and would irritate the introitus. There are reusable discs, which work fine, they ALMOST never leak, but the disposable ones never leak for me, even when worn during intercourse. Yup, you read that right. They’re amazing.
