What’s better than a white Christmas? 🌲

There’s nothing more magical than waking up on Christmas morning to an excited family and a beautiful layer of fresh white snow. 🌨️ If you’re lucky enough to live in an area where it stays a little colder in the winter season, then you’re probably hoping for a white Christmas, and you can use the Farmer’s Almanac Snow Predictor Tool to see whether or not that’s in the cards this year!

Of course, the predictions aren’t a guarantee, but it’s a fun way for you and your kiddos to get excited about the prospect of a special snow day. 🤗

To use the tool, head over to the Farmer’s Almanac website and scroll down to find your region (for example, the Pacific Northwest region covers parts of Washington, Oregon, and northern California). Then, just type in your zip code or city to check out your specific area’s weather forecast.

It looks like regions in the Northeast, upper Southeast, Pacific Northwest, and Alaska can safely expect some snow this year according to the Snow Predictor Tool. If you’re lucky enough to live in those areas, be sure to bundle up & make a batch of festive hot chocolate while you celebrate the holidays!

They are way off with my region. Kansas is currently very cold during the morning (single digits) but during the afternoon we have had temps in the 50s with expected highs Christmas Eve in the 60s. Very unseasonal for our area. Last year this time we had snow. The almanac is saying -Dec 22-26 Flurries, frigid- Dec 27-31 Snowy periods, cold. ***Wish they were right, we want snow for Christmas! 😩🎄❄️☃️

If you’re lucky enough to live where it stays a little colder??? LOL I live in Indiana and I’d rather be anywhere but the cold! Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄
