Seriously can’t ask for much more from this simple label maker. It’s cheap and it does its job. Another reviewer on here reonlinemended adding a space before or after your word to make it even– I highly reonlinemend doing that or else you’re going to have to bust out a pair of scissors as you’re labeling to center your text.

Press hard or it may not press through all the way, so I hold it for about 1-2 seconds before moving on to the next letter. The letters may not line up perfectly straight, and I’m sure that will bother people, but I like it cause it gives it a bit of a whimsical look.

Makes some great labels that look great for a ton of projects. It’s different than using a modern label maker, and you can’t see what you’ve “typed,” right away, but for a dirt-cheap way to label your toolbox, Arduino/RPI enclosures, or home network drives, it works awesome. If you need a label that can be out in a garage that will get hot in the summer and NOT turn all black like the thermal tape from a modern label maker seems to do, this is what you need.

Get crafty with these fun projects!

I got so lucky and found one of these at the dollar store years ago. Love it for scrapbooking and label making!

I needed to find something like this for my mom, who is in a memory care unit and needs her name on every little thing. This is so much nicer than just a sharpie. Thanks for sharing!!

I had no idea these were still around! (Of course they can call them β€œretro” and charge a lot more! 🀣). There was nothing like the sound of them as you were stamping and clicking to the next letter…and the sheer disappointment when you were almost done and clicked the wrong letter!!!! πŸ˜†

YES! These are sure handy to have around! πŸ™Œ

I, too, didn’t think these were still available for purchase. I remember back in the day…I thought these would be in a museum now🀣
