More Easter

Way to Celebrate Confetti Eggs 12-Count

It wouldn’t be Easter without the eggs… but what about the price?!

The price of eggs has been a hot topic in the last few months, with the price of a dozen climbing to more than double a gallon of gas in many areas.

We were happy to discover lots of dyeable Easter egg options last year – including chalkboard styles and even some filled with confetti – and a few have already popped back up again this year. These are an excellent alternative to decorating fresh eggs, both because they’re a more cost-effective choice and because they can be reused year after year to add to your Easter decor.

Below you’ll find the current options we spotted, including cute popular (and affordable) Way to Celebrate Easter Eggs to display your creations. While we hope to soon see more show up in-store & online at various retailers, you may not want to wait, as we do expect these to sell out this year.

I’ve been looking for the $1.98 walmart ones but haven’t spotted them yet. I’m definitely going to grab one when I do. Not using real eggs this year. Please post when you spot them at Walmart 🙂

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for the request, Tricia! We’re keeping an eye out! 👀 Dollar Tree is a great place to check for them too! Hoping you can grab them! 🤞

  2. Janel

The confetti eggs are horrible. Such a mess. Every year confetti is all over the parks and it’s there for weeks.

  3. Patricia Goff

I get mine from a neighbor. If we can’t get some extra for Easter I am definitely going to do this.

  4. Kate

These stable eggs are awesome. Once Easter is over, you can clean the dye right off of them and reuse them the next year. I’ve been using the same eggs going on 5 years!

    • Kate

      *reusable eggs

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

What a great idea, Kate! Thanks for sharing how you’ve been able to reuse them each year! 🙌❤️

    • Tricia

How do you get the dye off?

  5. Kathie

Years ago, a friend gave me a hot tip….dye them uncooked! You have the fun of coloring eggs, but then can use them as you like!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh cool! I never thought of that! Thanks for that tip, Kathie! 🙌🥰

  6. Tricia

Found them today on walmart.online for shipping to home for $2.24. Just ordered one. It’s still cheaper than regular eggs, so I’ll take it.

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Awesome! Thanks for the update on where you spotted these at, Tricia! 🥚🙌

  7. Britt

When my kiddos were tots and I didn’t want the mess of using actual dye, I would buy these and let them use the crayola water color paints to color them. Way more kid friendly than some of the dyes and washed off hands/surfaces easily too!

    • Britt

I should clarify, we just used the brushes that came with the crayola watercolor paints and the kids painted on the eggs.

  8. Rae

Eggs actually went from around $5 down to around $3 where I live. That’s a huge change at more than one grocery store chain.

  9. Tracy

$4.20 for 18 pack of eggs in KY now. Down from $6.
