Hip2Save’s Shane was happy with his family’s Walmart Christmas cards…

“I was honestly pretty surprised at how cheaply Walmart allows photo prints for Christmas cards! We scored a deal that allowed us to get our cards at $0.35 each, which upon pricing checking other top photo retailers seems to be leagues ahead of other platforms. Shutterfly, for instance, touts cards as low as $0.69 a piece, but that’s only if you buy like hundreds and hundreds of cards. Instead, we bought just 80 from Walmart, and paid far less than all of the other retailers we could find — and the pics were ready within a day or two. And the prints were of a decent quality! 10/10 would reonlinemend!” – Shane, Hip2Save team

I was excited about this deal and tried a few times to make a card. I could not figure out the editing software. I could add pictures, but could not edit the text. Tried in Chrome and Microsoft Edge. If someone has success with this, let me know how!

I made mine in Firefox and had no issues! I will say this option is printed on regular photo paper and doesn’t have a design on the back. But for this price, it didn’t bother me!

      • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

I made mine in chrome and had no issues. I upgraded to cardstock and added photos on the back and it still was only about 55 cents a card. Still a great deal!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      Awesome! Thanks for sharing, Erica!

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

It’s in the ad that ends November 26th. Unless they extend it, you’ll have until then.

  9. Chelsea

Thanks, went with the Matte photo paper…crossing fingers they onlinee out decent. Can’t beat the price.

    • Klp

I was actually surprised how nice they turned out! We had a professional photographer take our pictures so not sure if the quality will vary if you just used your phone but our picture is very clear. No design on the back with the photo paper option but not bad for the price. I liked them better than when I printed them at Staples in the past. I don’t like to spend a lot when I know most people just throw them away.

Do you know if it will say Walmart anywhere on the cards? I’m looking at doing the premium card stock with a print on the back.

  12. Bridget

Does anyone have a good or bad experience with the cardstock walmart cards?
