Cara has a Bachelor’s Degree from Northwestern State University, with a background in writing about food, culture, and beauty. She has been keenly frugal from an early age because - according to her mother - “Cara is living that whole champagne taste on a beer budget thing”. In her free time, she’s rediscovering the joy of LEGOs, and working her way through (almost) every recipe in the Encyclopedia of Cajun and Creole Cuisine.
