   I’ve made cold brew one time, and I made it in a mason jar. Please, someone tell me, do I need to get an actual cold brew coffee maker? I’m not a pro.

  Mason jar method works just fine. An actual cold brew system just makes the filtering process easier and less messy.

  no, any big jar will do just fine, i’ve made mine in mason jars many times and never had any issues

  I have this one from amazon and it is amazing! It is a mason jar with a cone mesh filter. Just fill the cone with grounds, put it in the jar and then pour in your water. After 24 hours pull the cone out and your cold brew coffee is left in the jar! Also has a flip top spout lid you can get to go with it!

   We’ve been using the Takeya Cold Brew pitcher for a few years. It has a metal filter inside a pitcher. Our biggest onlineplaint is that we end up with a lot of sludge in the bottom of the pitcher — even if we transfer it to a new pitcher, there’s still residue.
   We saw this Best Buy deal of the day and ordered it asap for in store pick up. It’s set up on the counter and we’re excited to try it tomorrow. Our hope is that the filter system will keep the sludge away.
   Sure, there are other ways to make cold brew. There are two of us drinking it so the bigger capacity is helpful.

   Thank you for posting! I have beonlinee totally addicted to cold brew coffee recently, but it can be really messy to make in a jar. Even better I had a $5 reward from BB available so this is the perfect solution!
