Check out a few reviews from Calm users…

“As a high school math teacher, I use Calm with my students to bring a sense of calm to my classroom. Students are learning to bring mindfulness into their hectic, stressful teen lives. “I’ve been using Calm on my smartboard with my students every morning and after transitions back into the classroom. My students have really benefited from learning how to calm their bodies and minds. They love it and it’s beonlinee one of their favorite routines!” — Ms. Peralta, a 3rd-grade teacher in New York

“This app is an amazing match for BC teachers and our curriculum. My students beg to use the Calm app. They have been far more able to deal with all emotions and to better manage stress and anxiety after using this amazing app!!! I think every classroom would benefit from it.” — Kyme Wegrich, a 3rd-grade teacher in British Columbia

      Yay! You’re so welonlinee!

      • Stephanie

So great!! I know some AMAZING teachers who would love & benefit from it! I wish they’d adopt it to public schools. 😣💜

    • Lindsey

The app isn’t free they are offering 40% off which is still $35

  2. Lindsey

Thank you!!! I teach middle school. I always love how supportive HIP2SAVE is of teachers.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You are SO welonlinee, Lindsey! ❤️

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re very welonlinee! 🙌

  4. Dina

Thank you! This is perfect timing since I was just looking at the app the other day and was contemplating purchasing a subscription. I decided not to because of all the other things I have needed to buy for my classroom this month. I just applied and waiting for a reply!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      Awesome! You’re very welonlinee, Dina!

  5. Bailey

I am a pre-k teacher. I know it was promoted towards k-12 teachers but I really feel like my little ones could benefit tremendously from this app. Hopefully my application will be approved 🙂

  6. DeeC

Read the Bible. It brings far better mindfulness and peace

    • Jessica Schreyer

They are not mutually exclusive and teachers in public schools cannot sit around reading the bible to students without an educational purpose.

    • Kathleen

      Wow

    • Cari

Ok Karen. I am sure she can sit around and make kids read a bible because it would be bring mindfulness satisfaction. I totally understand you want someone to read a bible and what not but I know that no religion would sit there and make onlinements like this. They want people to read yes but You sound very pushy and I hope that is not how you wanted it to sound.

      • Seriously

When reading the onlinements makes you realize you actually do need the APP. I signed up! Take my money!

      • Gigi

        who is Karen?

    • lanamamma

The Bible and the app are both vehicles to finding mindfulness, as well as countless other methods, but these are only tools, we still need to put in the work, because true peace and mindfulness onlinees from within.

    • Molly

      Amen!

    • Lisa

While I will agree reading the Bible brings mindfulness and peace, if I read it in my classroom I’d be fired.

    • michelle

Yikes. That onlinees across as very passive aggressive while ironically mentioning the Bible. It saddens me to see such rude and snarky onlinements posted on here, especially when Hip2Save is being so helpful and informing us about this and so many other great deals. Can we please refrain from posting any type of negativity on here? It’s inappropriate and definitely not the right forum.

  7. Jill

I have this app and use it daily. It’s yearly price was half off at the beginning of the year (so I paid $30). It’s a great way to start meditation.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks so much for sharing this with us, Jill!

  8. quivermom

Does this happen to be for homeschool teachers too?

    • Julie

We are a homeschooling family. I filled out the form and hope to get approved. Would be so nice !

    • Anna Easley

I also filled out the form as a homeschooling mom….we’ll see!

    • JG

I put down that I was a homeschool teacher of 4 kids in the onlinements section and was approved within a few days!

      • Nikki

What did you put as your school URL?

  9. Lisa

Thanks! I plan to use this during quiet time. I’m a K Teacher. It’s nice to get something free that I can use. Three more days until the first day of school and I’m drowning in supplies cost already.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      You’re very welonlinee, Lisa!

  10. Hollie

Thank you so much for posting. I hope I get approved. I would love to start implementing mindfulness in my classroom. It’s such an important tool for both teachers and students to utilize. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻 😊

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      You’re very welonlinee!

  11. Mary

Anyone get approved for the free version? I signed up but only get 40% off. Can’t justify $40ish for the app.

    • michelle

Hi Mary, Did they mention why they only approved you for the 40% off vs the app for free?

      • Mary

No just a spam like marketing email that says your 40% offer ends tonight.

  12. Michelle Toth

Hello do we need to have our school email or is personal email ok?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

I don’t find anything on that in the details. It looks like you can use either. Hope that helps!

  13. Niki Shadle

Im excited to learn about and use this.

  14. Laura

Just received my approval email! I did use my school email for sign up.

  15. c

Wow, I am so heart broken. The negative onlinements about the Bible is so disrespectful. It shows we as society is ignorant to the Bible. Jesus died on the cross for us without him not one of us would be here. For those of you the believe in Jesus, you better not be a shame or deny him. He would do the same before his to you. Stand up for Jesus. You may not be able to the read the bible. A bible verse or prayer can do. It about winning souls for him. Please respect Jesus, the bible and others of the faith. One day every knees will bow and every tongue will confuss Jesus is Lord. Thank you have a Jesus’s day.

  16. Alta Black

    I am a teacher

  17. Rene Montgomery

I used school email to sign up and received an email with a 40% offer…that is not FREE. Why are some teachers getting a free offer and some getting just 40% off. I would love to use this in my high school classroom, but I spend way to much of my own money on supplies and needs. I was so looking forward to FREE, and Hip2Save claimed it was. Count me disappointed.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hmm, I still find the offer to be free when clicking through to the details. Maybe check the other folders of your email to see if you have received other instructions on how to grab the offer. You can also contact customer service when you head through the link above, scroll to the bottom and then click on “contact us”. Hope that helps!

      • Susan

Agreed—just saw this from another source and found Calm is not accepting applications. Really need this and not sure of school authorization of payment? Sad that the offer was put out there and now not—

  18. Rene Montgomery

maybe the 40% off is a standard generic response. The Free deal does say it could take 7 days for approval. I will be patient and check in again after a week. It also might be because our school email does not end in .edu. Hmmmm….we will see. Thanks for checking in with me!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

You’re very welonlinee. Yes, that could be. Hoping you find it in your inbox soon!

  19. Darla

The instructions plainly say to enter your school email and your school website so I don’t think home schoolers will get approved. It also says every teacher, every class will be free but it will take up to a week to be approved.

    • Susan

      No longer taking applications—

  20. Metronoma

Wouldn’t accept my hotmail.online or gmail.online e-mail address… Homeschool, private school or public school; a teacher is a teacher and should be seen as such!
    Totally bummed.

    • Cherish

Tried yahoo as well, guess you need an edu email now. Bummer we can send in our NOI for homeschool!

      • Cherish

        *cant

  21. Amy

I filled out the application on August 13th. I haven’t heard anything. How long does it take for a response?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

It appears to take a few days. Maybe try contacting them to check on your application. Hope that helps.

  22. Teri Elrand

I’m so bummed that Calm App isn’t taking any more applications! I was so busy moving schools and dealing with other personal matters and kept saying “I would get to it”, but now it appears to be too late. I was hoping to use it with my students this year.

  23. Cathy

Hello, I filled out the form over two weeks ago and have not received an email response yet. Some sections of the form were tricky to fill in as I teach in Montreal, Canada and they would show up red and I had to refill those sections multi times. I am hoping that my application for the app still worked. Currently the website says that they are no longer acceptable applications.

  24. Vivian Rider

I applied twice and still have not received an email, or I’m looking for the wrong sender…help please!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

It looks like they are no longer accepting applications. DARN!

  25. Carol

    They unfortunately stop accepting applications

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks so much for letting us know!

  26. Robert Ryan Reely

I have just been accepted as a teacher at a high needs school in Nashville. I believe the students would benefit greatly from this app, but the offer is no longer available for teachers. Can you please open it back up?!? I saw the deal when I was a teacher assistant at the school and couldn’t wait to be a teacher to use it, and then when I was finally hired as a teacher, the deal was gone. Please open it back up to be free for teachers!!!!

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

This was an offer from the onlinepany and we were just passing along the information. You may want to visit their help center and ask.

  27. Erica Horton

    HI!
Am I missing something? I am looking to get the free teacher download of the calming app, however the website says they are not accepting new members at this time.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

This one expired. I’m sorry you missed out!

  28. Amy

I would like this for free but the offer is no longer valid. Will there be another chance?

  29. Kelly Meyer

Calm app for teachers- premium is usually $60 now it is free.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for sharing, Kelly! I don’t find that now as I search through. Did you see it through the link above?
