After reading Linas’s post about how much she hates those highly rated leggings, I’m a little skeptical of so-called “highly rated” reviews!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

I know what you mean! I’m thinking they are still a good point of reference when deciding on an item. Hoping that helps!

    • Jen

Even if something is highly rated, I read a good sampling of reviews because new products are always risky. In this case, the polyester in the blanket (cover is cotton) had me concerned that it would get hot. Sure enough, a good handful of reviews mentioned this problem so I’ll skip it. But Hip2Save did a great job of mentioning the week of adjustment most people need when they first use a weighted blanket so kuddos to them!!

      • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for the kind words, Jen! ❤

I have 2 of these blankets by this brand and trust me they are worth the money!

      Thanks, Gisette!

Does anyone use fakespot to onlinepare reviews?

    • Miriam

Probably a year or 2 ago, when I first came across fakespot I was really happy since I rely heavily on reviews before making purchases.

After some deal was highlighted on Hip2save and I immediately checked fakespot and saw the product had a F rating. Wanted to show my husband the next day and was so shocked to see that the product had an A rating (literally overnight!)!
Needless to say, but I stopped using fakespot since.
