Safety Alert! Fisher-Price Recalls 71,000 Ultra-Lite Play Yard Inclined Sleeper Accessories
Have a Fisher-Price play yard?
Fisher-Price announced a voluntary recall of the inclined sleep accessory that is included with all Fisher-Price Ultra-Lite Day & Night Play Yard models. Approximately 71,000 units are being recalled due to safety concerns as infants may roll from their back to their stomach or side while unrestrained.
The recalled products include model numbers CBV60, CHP86, CHR06, CJK24, and DJD11. While no injuries have been reported, other infant fatalities were reported earlier this year while using other inclined sleep products, such as the Rock ‘n Play Sleeper or Kids II Rocking Sleeper.
It’s important to note that the inclined sleeper accessory is the only portion of the product that is being recalled.
The play yard itself and the changing station clutch accessory/carry bag are not being recalled, and customers can continue using them.
If you have an inclined sleep product, contact Fisher-Price immediately for a refund or voucher by visiting the Fisher-Price safety website or Mattel.online. Or, you can contact them at 800-432-5437 from 9 AM to 6 PM ET Monday through Friday for more information.
