   I still get ‘sticker shock’, even with them on sale! I was waiting for a sale to buy a MacBook Pro for my vid/pic editing. While I was waiting, I did my homework and checked out YT vids on used Macs. Many people still want the 2012’s as they still had all the ports and disk drive. Refurbishers are making Hackintoshes by adding new hard drives and other upgrades. I found a reputable seller on eBay, and my 2012 MacBook Pro even has a new 1 TB HD. It wasn’t even half of this sale price. I am very happy with it. Beware though, just like in everything there are scammers, so look that up too.

  Actually people want 2015. This is the last generation that you can change the hard drive yourself and you still have the ports and it has the previous generation keyboard. 2012 is too old for apple standards. They stop providing updates for these older models (often hardware won’t support it) and you will find yourself looking for a new onlineputer sooner rather than later this making it bad investment. Trust me, I’ve had apple onlineputers long before they became trendy and I have been through all scenarios.

  Yes, i have a 2015 one that my cousin sold to me at a great discount. He brought it brand new. He is a onlineputer buff and he told me 2015 is where it’s at.

  If I could have afforded a 2015, I prob would have bought one. This is good for now. I am just thankful I didn’t have to pay the retail price.

   Best price we’ve seen in a while. Just placed our order for the 15 inch and please add apple care. Expensive but well.worth it. We too plan to use it for editing our new vacation videos and pics.

   I ordered 13″ 512gb plus added the apple care. My husband got his 256gb 13″ at the end of March, will see today if they still can price match it. We got samsung laptops in June last year and before Christmas he lost days of work on it. We will be selling both of them. We had mid 2010 macbooks pro but apple made us angry when, after 7 years, they said they don’t have replacement batteries. Well, we are back to macs. I just wish best buy offered discounts for teachers, not only for students.

   I got mine picked up and we price matched my husband 13″ Macbook pro he bought at the end of March. Just a side note – if you order online and want to price match they won’t do it in the store, we got the number to call and after a short wait time we got the money back without any problems.
