Funny stuff and giveaways and I’d LOVE that bidet! – Here’s why:
I just read your reason “why” you created this site. I struggled with all things poop for as long as I can remember, but specifically ulcerative colitis for about 24 years until March 2017 when I had a BIG ole surgery – total colectomy with ileoanalanastomosis (trying saying that 3 times fast!). Which means I had my entire colon removed and they set up a temporary ileostomy (poop bag) while we waited for the healing process of the j-pouch they created during this surgery. The j-pouch is made out of my small intestine and, after the second “take-down” surgery, began working sort of like my colon so I could still poop in the same way most people do. It was a difficult recovery and things still aren’t quite so awesome, but my colon was on the verge of perforating, which could have been deadly, so I’m VERY HAPPY to be here 2 years later. One day I will find the food that work best for me. Currently, I eat about the most unhealthy things available – carbs, carbs, carbs and some meat. I can’t eat many veggies, except butternut squash, spaghetti squash and sweet or white potatoes. When I eat things like watermelon, tomatoes or salad, it is not pretty and is very painful. I would LOVE the bidet bc I have heard it can be a game-changer when you have pooping without a colon (it is not your typical poop). I MISS salads and “healthy” foods. So I truly feel you when it onlinees to the poop struggles and I’m glad to hear that you found something that works well for you. Just thought I’d write a post to thank you for bringing some humor when many hardly want to talk about it. For some of us, it’s just normal conversation. 🙂
