Readers love these dryer balls too! Check out these onlinements:

I bought these last time they were on sale and popped up on this site/app and I adore them! My king size onlineforter doesn’t bunch up and dries without me having to constantly stop and restart the dryer to uncoil it. Before I’d have to reset it 4-6times because I’d be busy and forget, so they save a lot in time and electricity. VERY pleased!

I LOVE my wool balls. I have been using the same sets for every load for over 4 years now. They have held up fine. No smells, deterioration or negatives here. I buy them with good sales and just keep putting more in the dryer.

Bought a pack for each of my family members for Christmas. We all use and love dryer balls. (And I seriously dislike fabric softener of any sort. It actually makes me cough and wheeze when other people use it and onlinee close to me. They have no idea.)

For anyone on the fence about these- they are amazing! If you’re still using dryer sheets- read up on dryer sheets and get rid of them 🙂 I put a couple drops of essential oils on these and our clothes smell amazing!!!!!

I have been using these (yes this specific brand) for over 2 years and they work great. When I have a load of laundry with polyester fabrics I only need to add half a dryer sheet to reduce static.

I bought these same dryer balls a couple years ago, and they have really held up. This is a great price!

  3. CAPSLOCK

How do they with cutting down on static electricity?

    • Sarah

I bought some last time there was a deal on them. They are REALLY static-y. I read a onlinement about adding safety pins to them to help with it. Added pins in 2 of them but still lots of static. I’m not sure if they help with drying times either. And theyre rather loud. I’m on the fence about them. However our dogs love them and play with them any chance they get. 😀

I have the same problem, so much static! Never had problems when used only dryer sheets.

        • centerofattn315

Be sure you’ve turned down the heat setting and shorten time — it takes some trial and error but too high of heat or drying too long are the usual culprits for static when using dryer balls. Also using enough dryer balls, as most reonlinemend 6 for small-medium loads and more for large loads.

I think these are a great product. Scroll through the pictures on their Amazon page, some interesting facts I didn’t know about them. I live at high altitude and the air is very dry. I never use dryer sheets. I won’t say I have no static, but not much. The more you over dry your clothes the more static you will have.

I’ve been waiting on a deal for these. I bought a set of 6 about 5 years ago; I’m down to 1 dryer ball. My dogs got 2 of them and shredded them; not sure what happened to the others. Pretty sure they disappeared in the teenage room of doom. Happy to get a new set at a great price!

I,too, bought a set 5 or 6 years ago. As of 6 weeks ago I am down to 1 ball. Guess it is time to take advantage of this sale.

    Slightly Unrelated:

I just wanted to share that the Softsoap Liquid Handsoap posted earlier today is available again. I tried to post on the expired post but it keeps deleting my post.

I just purchased the 6 qty in that posts link for $4.23 (50 cents cheaper than earlier this morning) with subscribe and save. It’s also available as an addon.

  12. Emily

Love be these! You can add some essential oil to them as well if you’d like a smell

    • Liza (Hip Sidekick)

      Great tip Emily, thank you!

  13. GraceFace

Hi there! Be sure to use the promo code listed in the post above, as I’m still finding the dryer balls to drop in price to $9.83 when I enter it at checkout. Hope that helps!

Don’t forget to use the promo code at check-out. This adjusted the price down still for me tonight. 🙂
