  1. Happy Aunt

Funny, I dont buy about 75٪ of what’s on this list. I love Aldi though and I really miss those Thin Mint knock offs. They were discontinued in my area 6 months or more ago. They rocked!

    • Ashley

Yes!!! I really miss those too!!!

  2. Dkp91576

I love Aldi. I walk in with $20 and leave with a cart full of stuff. Same money at ShopRite is only a handful of items and only if they are on sale with coupons.

  3. Amanda

I love the coconut knock off Girl Scout cookies, but their “thin mints” are definitely not the same 🤪

    • astrand24

      Agreed

  4. AmandaJ

I’m a Girl Scout mom, but think that Aldi’s versions are way better! Lol! Especially those peanut butter patties!!

  5. ashley

Thanks for all the ALDI posts recently! We just moved to a new area and the ALDI is much closer AND has carts that have seats for TWO kids in the front. I’m not taking my twins shopping with me right now anyway, but I’m so excited for the new cart option! That’s a HUGE deal to a twin mama!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Aww, How exciting! You’re so welonlinee, Ashley! Happy shopping! 💃

  6. Taylor S.

Has anyone else’s Aldi’s been carrying Cheeze its that are just AWFUL!? They were our favorite and now all of a sudden, they have ZERO cheese flavor.

    • Maria

I have to agree with you. Their wheat thins are bad too.

      • Lu

I accidentally bought the Aldi wheat thins in a low fat variety, and my husband actually made a point of onlineing to me to say how much better they were than the regular Aldi ones. When I buy the name brand ones, he likes the regular and not the low fat, so it seems backwards at Aldi and you might want to give the low fat ones a try.

    • Crystal

I have to agree my kids were like these are not the same-wonder if they changed their recipe

    • Nana Donna 2 6

We used to love the cheese fish crackers. But about a year or more ago they were saltier on multiple occasions and weren’t so good anymore. 🙁

    • Nana Donna 2 6

We stopped buying the mini fish crackers due to the change in taste… mostly more salty.

  7. KarenJ

I wish their return policy extended to their staples. I recently bought 2 bags of the Clancy’s restaurant style tortilla chips & they smelled & tasted bad when we opened them. All I received in an email from Aldi was thanks for letting us know. I’ve never been disappointed with Aldi products before. I do understand not accepting returns but I suppose I was hoping they would offer to replace the bad product.

    • ksjmoney

Did you take them back for a refund? I contacted Aldi the other day about a product, their method is by filling out a form. I was impressed the same day I got a call from someone and she was so nice and sending me an Aldi gift card for twice the value of product. I didn’t even have to ask.

      • KarenJ

In reply to ksjmoney. I filled out a form on their website as requested filling in product information & upc code. It was a few days before I received a return email from them & they just referenced their return policy & thanked me for providing feedback. I might contact them again because we couldn’t eat the chips & had to throw them away.

  8. Melissa

Our Aldi does curbside pickup through Instacart. The order minimum is $35 and it costs an extra $1.99, but that’s it! I was really nervous to let them pick my fruits and produce, but they’ve done surprisingly good.

    • Rebecca

Ours does that as well… sometimes charges the $1.99 pickup fee, sometimes doesn’t. Maybe it depends on the time/day of week, I’m not sure. I do Publix pickup thru Instacart as well(no additional fees there), pre-covid their minimum was $10, then $35, now it’s back down to $10 again. I wonder if Aldi’s minimum order will drop as well, didn’t order from them before so I’m not sure what it was like then.

  9. Lora

I like their trail mixes, too. Most of their items that I have tried have been pretty good. I hate their new style of milk gallons, though. I have a hard time pulling off that plastic on the opening of the jug, and I always spill the milk the first few pours.

    • Holiday37

Lora, I so agree about the milk cartoons… I spill milk the first few times too!!!

  10. Laurie

My kids devour the cookies, crackers, and chocolate covered fruit. I tried one of each of the cookies on a cheat day and I should have left myself in the dark. Temptation!

    • Nana Donna 2 6

Those Benton mini chocolate chip and mini alphabet cookies are addicting. It’s great they onlinee in individual snack packages and are perfect for kids…but I find myself grabbing 2 at a time. 🙄

  11. Rebecca

Their frozen food section has so many ice cream and popsicle treat options right now it is dangerous!

  12. MaymeV

I also thought Aldi’s quit selling the Benton Fudge Mint cookies when they disappeared here. Wonder if it’s because of the heat (melting maybe)?

  13. Leane

We don’t have mint cookies here anymore in ne pa???

  14. Becca

I soooo wish they would bring back the fudge mint Benton cookies!!!! 😫

  15. MisstionVista

Pizzelles! Someone suggested using them for s’mores . . . and they are amazing! Great for ice cream sandwiches too.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh yes! LOVE those! Thanks for the ideas!

  16. 5pink1blue

This is a non-food item but I really liked their seasonally scented dish soap. They no longer carry it.☹️

  17. M. Mosso

You missing those mini chocolate eclairs🤤🤤🤤…addictively good!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      Thanks for the suggestion!

  18. Mary W

Aldi has several things in onlinemon with the club stores. Aldi carries items for a limited time and you may never see them again or just seasonally. These items have the price cards written in red to let you know. Prices in black are staples you should see every time. Their dairy products, like milk, are produced by local dairy plants so the packaging and brand names will vary depending on your area. Never feel unhappy about a purchase. The manager of your store will bend over backwards to help you. Spread the word that if you arrive to shop and have forgotten your quarter, just ask a cashier and they will give you one. No questions asked.

  19. Stacey

Agreed on the low fat wheat thins…they’re really good! Also the dog newton knock offs are way better than Nabisco Fig Newtons. And .95-1.29 in my area (the price fluctuates for some reason).

  20. BrendaW

Along with my addiction to the peanut butter cookies, I have also bought more of the peach Bellini wine than I should admit!! I know it is only “for a limited time”, so I get it while I can!! 🍷

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

YUM! Glad you have been enjoying it!

  21. wimedtypr

Aldi jalapeño artichoke dip with their 99 cent wheat thins the best.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

YUM! Thanks for onlinementing! I’ll have to try it!

  22. Mamamia

They have a great selection of nuts too!
