   This software is excellent! But at least last year Best Buy also had great prices all the way up to the tax deadline.

   Is anybody know how this is? easy to use?
   We normally go to H&R Block office to file tax because we are homeowner and also renting a house that we own so we don’t want to make mistake or miss out anything but it’s so expensive.
   so I’m wondering if anyone know how good this software is.

  My husband uses only this. We have a bunch of rentals and he’s never had any problem with H&R block. He uses the one for rentals.

   We did the rental/homeowner taxes with this software last year, and it was very easy to use! It explained at each step what was deductible and what was not, so business expenses were easy to put in. The only drawback we found was that after saving a portion, if you needed to go back and make corrections you needed to edit the forms themselves, because the software did not automatically apply changes to the forms that it filled out the first time.

   Help. What is the difference between using software like this and just doing the regular filing online? I’ve always just done the basic online but with my hubs in school and having a little one I feel like we may qualify for more of a refund.

  Depending on what you pay online for your filing it may or may not make sense to get this. This software is similar to what you would use online, but it is a local version that works on your PC. Same outonlinee, different avenues, so to speak.
  Just keep in mind that this is federal only, you will, Inthink, have tonpay separately for state.

   I usually use free tax usa but im going to try this too and see how they onlinepare. Free tax has always worked very well and its cheap

   Thanks, I have been waiting for a deal on H&R block software. I went through ebates (1%), and was able to get the Federal & State version (disc not download) + free 1 year internet security for $21.00.
