      Do you have to buy the original Minecraft first? My kids have not played this before so we do not have any of the games. Is this something that is an add on to the original game? When I try to buy it they want me to pay 6. 99 for it. Thanks

    My boys just got a Nintendo switch yesterday, do I have to pay for the online Nintendo account to be able to download and play a game like this?

      No. The online subscription is for playing with friends online. You can buy and download games anytime.

          You can get it if you own the game for the switch. Launch the game, and on the title menu there is a “store”. They are there under holiday gifts 🙂

        Yahoompls, I was able to score this for my kiddos on their iPad and they did already have the $6.99 app purchased. I am not sure if it will work with the free Minecraft version. Hope that helps.

    If someone has been able to download it for the Switch pleaseeee let me know how you did it. I was able to access minecraft.net but when I click on the link to take me to the market place to get the bundle it is unable to display the page! 🙁

      Launch the game, then on the title page for minecraft see the “store” option at the bottom of the list. Go in there, its under holiday deals 🙂

      Hi there! Here is a tip from a helpful Facebook reader – “For those using an iOS device – I had to update the app and then the bundle popped up when I reopened the app.” Hoping that helps you too!
