Wow what a great deal on poinsettias!! I might have to go pick up a couple for the front porch

    • Laura

Just a FYI- if you have a Lowe’s near you- poinsettias are only 50 cents on Black Friday

      • KeriB

What??? That’s awesome! Thanks for telling me. I wonder if they will have a lot or if they will run out quickly. Lowe’s is actually closer to our house

      • GAmommyof4

The Lowe’s Poinsettias are a third of the size of the flowers from Home Depot. I’ve been getting mine from HD for years! They are beautiful! I also give them to neighbors and teachers as gifts. Just add a bow and card!

        • KeriB

Thanks for the information! Sounds like Home Depot is the way to go. Do they usually have a lot?

      • Jen

I also always get mine from HD since they’re bigger. Both stores are within 2 minutes from each other where I live, so I’ll be grabbing the usual bigger ones for myself from HD and the smaller ones from Lowe’s to stretch out my gifting budget.

      • Liz

Lowe’s ones are not as big.

  2. Shannon Dante

You need to be in line at the store before opening to be able to get the home depot ones. I do it every year and it is chaos lol. They are usually gone within 10 mins or so and they have a lot. I’m assuming Lowe’s would be even worse.

    • Liz

Mine has had racks and racks as late as 10am.

A pretty (and inexpensive) gift for a neighbor, hostess, coworker (me!) – put the poinsettia plant in a square vase (dollar tree) with a wide holiday ribbon around the glass vase. Cost is around $2.
