    These did not work for me. I had to get an old towel and a mixture of water/bleach and even then it didn’t fix the issue. Our washer is probably 8 or 9 years old, so I think that’s why. If you have a new washer, maybe these would help prevent any mildew smell.

      If you do a empty load with Lysol and hot water, it will take away the smell. Also, to avoid a mildew smell in the future, do not close the front load washer door after you are done. Leave it open. This have solved that issue for me. Hope it works for you, too.
