This grill may seem a bit on the pricier side, but it appears to be worth it after looking at all the 5-star reviews..
This is really my first “expensive” gas grill and I love it. Quality product when onlineparing to other “Store bought grills”. Every piece easily fit and oozes with quality and thought.
So I wanted to wait for one grilling season before I wrote this review because I was interested in how this grill would hold up. Most of my life I have bought the economical grill as I thought they were all the same. Well let me tell you….. I was wrong. This grill is unbelievable. Very good material, holds up to weather in the North East (Snow, Hail, Rain, etc.). And it cooks like a beast.
I just love Weber. It’s so worth the price when everything is sturdy, and supported by a strong warranty. I use this rain or shine. The four burners are such a step up from the three I used to have. It’s makes a world of difference when trying to cook over indirect heat, like slow-cooked ribs. The temperature control is super-responsive and the improved inside coating of the lid no longer flakes off when exposed to intense heat over longer periods of time (a problem with some older models).
Apart from it’s exceptional grilling use, I was really astounded by two things Weber has done with this grill. The first thing is the gas tank scale – it let’s you know when the tank is getting low. Since it’s based on a 30lb standard tank fill, it can also let you know if you’ve been ripped off on your latest tank exchange. Second of all, the instructions – it is increasingly rare to have a assembly guide which is written clearly. Weber took it a step further and organized the nut & bolts into lettered bags according to when they’ll be used in building the grill.
