   Thank you for posting this! We are military stationed in Japan and travel using budget airlines where they charge you for carryons over 7kg. This helps us save money by not checking luggage! In the past I would stand on the scale and weigh my bags then subtract my weight. Not accurate, but it sort of worked. 😜

  It’s actually onlinepletely accurate to weigh yourself, weigh yourself with the luggage, and then subtract. Just went three weeks to Europe, many flights, and spent $0 on luggage fees.

   Works well if you are on your return flight and you purchase souvenirs and such. Most hotels don’t have scales in the rooms. This devise is worth every penny. I often travel with large groups where we have to move things from one bag to another to get one person under weight
