   Do they ever have a 50% plus free shipping? Shipping is $8 for me making this more of a 30% off in the end. Anyone know is this the best sale they have on these backpacks?

  I have bought from Lands End frequently. Free shipping is very infrequent. I remember it a couple of days during the Christmas season. Doesn’t mean it won’t happen…but I never plan on free shipping.

  I have a lands end close by so I always order $50 worth to get free shipping and then return the extra things. I hate paying shipping!

   Lifetime warranty isn’t a true , easy warranty. Bought my daughter’s backpack just a few years ago (*she was in 2nd grade when it ripped). I contacted customer service , I had bought the bag on clearance. They had no record of my transaction since o didn’t do it online, I had no receipt, they asked for some info and did verify it was from lands end, but I would be charged shipping to them and back. I could take it to the store they said, but the store said I needed to contact customer service. It was a terrible run-around. Ended up tossing the bag and now she sports a jansport bag.
