Yes. I have a family of 4 and this size is more than adequate. The 8 qt. is only slightly bigger, takes more time to onlinee to pressure and release pressure, and needs a greater amount of minimum liquid to pressure cook.

So I bought the Ultra with the deal a few days ago, and now there is this deal. Anyone have thoughts on whether I should keep the Ultra or return and get the Duo60 and save $25? Is the Ultra worth the extra money?

If any of you purchased the one almost 2 weeks ago for $89.99 with the Kohls cash & such, I just called CS and because it was less than 14 days they were able to do a price adjustment for me over the phone! I got over $20 back and still had the Kohl’s cash . So after that I ended up paying $66.19 & still had the $10 cash & $5 cash for sending to store!

Just a heads-up, for those of you that did not get offered the extra $5 Kohl’s cash, mine did, but I wonder if it had anything to do with the fact that I originally set it to ship with the free code first. It says the $5 cash will be included in the store pick up confirmation email. Watch those receipts! I am sure it is much cheaper for them to give out the $5 than ship it to me for free. Win-win!

How many of the 5 are small children vs. adults? And what kinds of things will you be making most likely? You can still use the 6 qt for a family of 5, it may just mean doing 2 batches of something once in a while. But if you go w/ the 8 qt. then you should consider that it’s only slightly bigger than the 6 qt., takes more time to onlinee to pressure and release pressure, and needs a greater amount of minimum liquid to pressure cook. My family of 4 always has enough portions w/ the 6 qt.
