   We own this system and love it . We use it when were out of town checking on our pets, our sump pump, when kids are being babysat etc. It gives such a peace of mind and so convenient to just see it on our phone.

   I bought the Arlo system a few weeks ago and am pretty disappointed in it. It had great reviews and is wireless, which is why I chose this one. I should have listened to the negative reviews about the lag time with how fast it reacts to movement. It also does not seem to have the range for movement that it should. Push to talk does not work, but it has great microphone pick up for the camera where I can hear the people outside. The battery life does not last as long as they say either. I may get a month out of a charge, definitely not 2-6 months. I would prefer not to make holes and run wires though, so I guess this is really what I am stuck with. I must say I do like the fact that you do not have to pay extra to have your recorded video for 7 days.
