These playhouse are SUPER cute and would make for a sweet birthday or holiday gift and/or are a great way to entertain your kiddos over summer break! We spotted dollhouses, rockets, and even a pirate ship but note that availability will vary from store to store.

I grabbed two playhouses – it took me a bit to put this together. We colored a bit but there is lots more to do. My kids are enjoying it !! Thank you for this perfect deal.

I’ve been buying the large cardboard coloring houses for years! I have 10 nieces and nephews and I just bought my 5th coloring house this past Christmas. He’s five and still playing with it regularly! He and my dad spent a full day using other cardboard boxes to build a kitchen inside the house – so he built a stove and sink and hung a microwave from a window opening. Hours and hours and hours of fun. Even the cat likes it.

We got these a few weeks ago and the house is really nicely designed and sturdy. My very tall 6 year old had plenty of room inside and even slept in it a couple of nights. The rocket is horrible! Very tall and not much room to sit inside. My small 4 year old could only sit straight up inside of it – not enough room to lay down. He was quite upset when he tried to sleep in it and it collapsed when he leaned into it. Not even worth the $15. However, the house is a great deal at that price!!

These houses are so much fun! One tip though is that they are HUGE, so rather than coloring them in with markers or crayons, we let the kiddos paint them! Much easier!

My 5 year old loved the gingerbread one from christmas. I got some of the tempera paint sticks and those were great to cover it all.

How fun! Thanks or sharing what worked well to color the Gingerbread Playhouse! I really need to grab one of these for my nephew! He would LOVE that Pirate Ship!

Picked one of these up yesterday for my two girls. We got the food truck one which has a taco stand on one side and an ice cream shop on the other. They each run their own side and have named their truck “Sugar and Spice”. I could barely get them to stop coloring and go to bed last night!

We purchased the Gingerbread House for our daughters. It was folded in the wrong places (in the box) & a PAIN to put together!! GARBAGE! For the $15 they cost, not worth the trouble folding it back up and taking back to the store! STAY AWAY!
