We love Aldi, the store we always go to just reopen today after the expansion to double the store size. The watermelon is $2.99 at our Aldi.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Oh wow! How cool! Thanks for sharing! I’d love it if my store doubled in size!

  2. Mrs.W

    I love Aldi!!!!!!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Me too! I can’t seem to get to our nearest store often enough! It’s about 20-30 minutes away but SO worth the trip!

  3. silverfanatic

Aldi is awesome. I haven’t purchased buns or paper plates anywhere else in years because the prices are hard to beat. As Summer gets moving along, the produce will often drop to 99 cents for strawberries and other fruits. This week, pineapple, zucchini, and squash are all 99 cents if you like to grill those. Bagged salad mixes are also very tasty from Aldi if you want something a little healthier.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Thanks for sharing your favorite ALDI finds time of year! I will have to keep a lookout for those produce prices!

  4. Lala

Was planning a trip to BJ’s but now just might have to make an Aldi run instead. Thanks for the tip!

    • isabella

Yeah, we have a membership at BJ’s, but rarely go there now, that we got ALDI open close to us. Aldi beats BJ’s most of the time!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      You’re very welonlinee! Happy shopping!

  5. Michelle

Aldis organic beef is usually around $5 a pound! Makes great burgers for your BBQ 😊

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Great tip Michelle! Thanks for sharing!

  6. Lisa

Thank you for posting Aldi’s deals, Collin and Team. We love our Aldi’s. A few of the things my family loves… their cereal, the Vanilla ice cream (none other), and typical stuff like milk, eggs, butter, breads, veggies, and fruits all are very cheap. Sometimes ours gets crowded but love the big aisles and they always call for backup support for checkouts when needed.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You’re so welonlinee Lisa! Thanks a ton for sharing your favorite ALDI items with us! We sure appreciate it!

  7. Yar

This is out of topic, but has any one tried Aldi baby gate? I belive the price is around $20 l, but not sure if this work good. TIA.

  8. Yar

Please don’t go late in the evening, as most of the items are gone, can’t blame people prices are so good at Aldi.

  9. Jiya

They used to have organic tomato ketchup. Now it’s discontinued…..Miss it.

    • kate

Saw it today at my Mass location…

    • Kiwi

I believe I saw it at mine yesterday. Maybe it will return to yours!

  10. LC

Great price for a grill. I’ll have to go check that out

  11. Francine

For anyone that has not been to Aldi’s in the last few years, I would give it another try. I tried going when they came to our town around 8 years ago and stopped because I did not like the taste of most of their products. They recently opened a new store and I gave it another shot. The prices are still great and I honestly can’t tell the difference between most of their products and name brands!

  13. Whitney

I love Aldi but an disappointed that they recently changed the plastic and closure used for their sandwich and freezer baggies. They were notably better quality/thicker and had a wider opening than others but now, not thick and good anymore. So annoying. I agree with another that the paper plates and cups aren’t to be beat, though. They hold up well in the microwave, too.

    • trace

Let them know so they can change them back!! I think there is survey info. On the bottom of your receipts.

I had the privilege of shopping at Trader Joe’s in Lake Zurich, Illinois in 2004 . I enjoyed it immensely!
During a Google search found there was a connection between ALDI and Trader Joe’s . They’re brothers that started together. I’m in Memphis Tennessee and so happy We found ALDI. Go guys great work! Thank you both for the differentcies in your stores on prices and choices. It makes feeding your family more fun and affordable. We are able to enjoy something different than the norm at great prices . ❗️❗️❗️

    • Cari

Aldi was built buy to brothers. Trader joe’s got bought by them later on.

  15. Robert

I love Aldi. Now live in south Texas, Harlingen to McAllen area. Please , Please gives us a Aldi store. Help Help

  16. Ashley

Love Aldi! Don’t forget your quarter for the cart!
We love their bananas, the Caesar salad is great! Just finished off one of their watermelons, really like their version of Honey Bunches of Oats and their hard shell tacos. Personally not a fan of their cola or their version of Cheerios, but love literally everything else!!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Thanks for the feedback and the reminder about the quarter! My kids love to help grab me a cart with a quarter! LOL!

  17. Kiwi

Huge Aldi’s fan! From the time I parked to unloading my boys (at the tine 5 and 3 months) to loading them back up was about 40 minutes. I had my list, spent roughly $80 and had 3 meals a day, snacks and dinners for a week. They have saved my family oodles of money.

  18. Cpetty

How is the meat? I love shopping at Aldi, I’m on the fence about trying their meat though.

    • MCouzens

The frozen beef and turkey patties are good. I have also bought fresh chicken in leg quarters and whole fryers, both very good. I did not care for their turkey tenderloin though.

    • monkey

We like their ground beef, sliced sirloin for fajitas, salmon, and chicken breasts… of we like it all. Plus the way its packaged we have found it lasts longer than our local grocery store chains.

  19. Megan

Kind of random, but where are the gold bracelets in these pictures from?

  20. Rosario

I live now in Las Vegas, NV. I have not seen any ALDI stores in the area. Are there any ? And are there any future plans to open any?

  21. Debbie

I super love all Aldi’s. I have been shopping at Aldi’s since they first opened in Stark County Ohio about 25 years ago. The prices are cheap and they always have interesting things in the bargain aisle. I’ve had open debates about all these I did not always win but I won’t change my mind Aldi’s is the best!

  22. C.L.KRAMER

So,so, happy you are opening the Aldis. by The Lakes Mall in Muskegon Mich.. Allendale near G.V.S.U. would be even better.I 💝YOU ALDIS!!!! If you didn’t have the slowest prices .you wouldn’t be No.1 !!!

  23. Basil

Everything is OK, but why not sell cow cheese (a kind of cottage chees but is drier, in Russian is called TVOROG), buckwheat, puffy dough, wine and more European and Eastern European products. I suggest there are many people from Europe who will visit Aldi more often, somehow wish you success.

  24. Nina

I never really went to Aldis bcus I love Trader Joe’s but after reading these posts I tried it and it’s true.. the cheeses and snack and organic produce are priced well and everything’s so streamlined it’s definitely worth a trip.

  25. monkey

Being Gluten free, they have tons of options and just started carrying GF hamburger rolls too. We love their GF mac and cheese, garlic parmesan crackers, and rotini. We don’t like their GF spaghetti bc it clumps together to easily and the GF bread/wraps aren’t that great.
