  I’ve never had mold issues with mine but we only use them for water. I don’t know what style these are but I have old ones that I love and 2 new ones with a different style that I don’t care for. I’m having to constantly take them apart in order for the kids to drink from them.

  I have the adult sized ones- they will mold where you drink from, even if you only drink water, BUT if you clean them properly (don’t leave them for months without cleaning in warm soapy water) you will be fine
