We like Mrs. Doubtfire and debated renting it last weekend from Amazon. Heads up though, we happened to be at Walmart and found the DVD for only $3.87!

We rented this a few months back thinking it would be a good family movie. As a kid I never realized the language and the deep issues. The memory of this movie was much better than rewatching it on family night.
It’s rated PG-13. That should tell you what to prepare for. Plus it was made in the 90s before helicopter parenting became the norm.
I agree lol. I can’t think too much about the plot if I watch it again. They make you feel sorry for a parent that is a terrible parent and husband, then he dresses in drag, lies and then let’s not forget he freaking almost kills someone (remember he purposely put the new boyfriend in anaphylactic shock). I am like this was way funnier when I was a kid… I way overthink it as an adult and don’t enjoy it.
