   The series 1 won’t support the latest software very well which is why they’re getting rid of them. When I updated mine it cut my battery life down from almost 2 days to only about 10 hours. I was told by Apple there’s no way to go back to a previous version of iOS so basically I’m stuck with this until I upgrade my watch to a later series. Just something to consider if you’re thinking about purchasing one.

   It’s on sale because it’s 2 generations old…thus outdated. I wish this website would quit promoting old technology. Get Series 2 at least.

  You know the Series 2 has been discontinued right?! Lol.. The Series 1 is still supported and you still can get Applecare..I’m grateful for these posts! Just ordered for graduation gift!
