Got 5 Minutes? Make these Air Fryer Donuts!
Wake up – It’s time to make air fryer donuts!
What if I said that you can make warm and delicious homemade donuts as a genius breakfast idea in just five minutes using your air fryer?! Yep, they are that quick to make and are definitely worth getting out of bed for.
This is one of my favorite air fryer recipe ideas, and I hope your family loves it, too! It results in a yummy batch of flaky, warm donuts that taste delicious, yet are so low effort.
These five-minute donuts are a fun, once-in-a-while treat that my kids get so excited for!
Tips for making yummy air fryer donuts:
-
- The secret to these super-fast, magical donuts is store-bought biscuit dough, such as Pillsbury Grands! I make these using my beloved Power Air Fryer XL, which I use just about every day in the kitchen!
-
- Use a small biscuit cutter or a shot glass (or even a plastic disposable medicine cup – that’s what Collin used!) to cut holes in the middle of each biscuit. Don’t forget to cook all your donut holes at the end, too!
-
- We usually top ours with butter and then powdered sugar or a cinnamon/sugar mixture. You could also create a sweet glaze by mixing 1 1/2 cups of powdered sugar with 2 tablespoons of milk and a splash of vanilla extract. Dip the tops in the glaze after air frying and let dry for a bit before enjoying. SO good!
