    A tip for all owners of LARGE dog breeds: Phazyme is a brand of simethicone, and if you own a dog breed prone to deadly bloat (Great Danes, German Shepherds, and any “barrel chested” breed) , you need to keep simethicone in the house for the dog. At the first sign of bloat, administering some can buy needed time to get the dog to the vet and into emergency surgery to save its life. We keep this in the dog medicine kit.
