  could be either way. i shop there regularly, and they often have an aisle with a section towards the back of the store with a bunch of random clearance items, usually some very good deals, all types of products. then, scattered throughout the store, they also have clearance tags on other items that are located in their normal spot.

   I just got my delivery from the deal where you get a free vitamin c lotion and free shampoo and conditioner when you buy anything, and I bought the Clinique dramatically different 5$ lotion.
   The free lotion and shampoo/conditioner tubes are so tiny I am very disappointed that I paid 6$ to ship those tiny things to me. I should have paid closer attention. Did everyone else know they were that small? The vitamin c lotion was .25 oz, the shampoo was 1 oz.

  Yes, they were all clearly samples. The Vitamin C booster is actually full size.
