  Don’t buy them for a 15 year old. My 7 year old checks them out from his school library every week and reads them in a couple days. I would get a harder book or a novel for a 15 year old, just my opinion. My 13 year old would be offended if I bought him these books, I think they are fun, but definitely geared for a younger audience.

   My daughter a senior in hs all AP classes and request this as her number one pick on her wish list for Xmas. Kids never grow up. I would definitely buy this their only young once.😄😊😀😍😁

   This author has done an AMAZING thing for his current hometown (I live nearby) – he built an independent bookstore/cafe/meeting space (in the age of Amazon) on the site of a crumbling, long empty General Store in the center of town. It turned into a true labor of love when inspectors deemed it a tear-down rather than rehab and construction turned into a series of expensive remediations. The place is beautiful and he’s done additional things to revitalize the old downtown (in the age of malls and shopping plazas).     My son requested the newest book ! I also found Diary of a wimpy kids mad libs paperback for less then $2 thought that would be fun to add to the book 😊
