   I bought 12 pairs of Christmas socks and use laundry pins numbered 1-24. I reuse it every year. The kids have gotten Playmobil, Legos. This year they are getting big hair bows (the knock offs from Amazon). We don’t do many gifts for our kids and they really look forward to it each year.

   I used regular laundry pins until I found some numbered through 24 woth Christmas trees on them (Hobby Lobby).

   I did something similar to this last year for my mom. Except instead of a grid patterns, I glued them to a wreath shape. Inside was a different flavored k cup for each day! She absolutely loved it!

   I did something similar to this. I wrapped foam board in wrapping paper. Then I cut cardboard rolls and painted them white. I hot glued them to the wrapped board. I typically put candy inside but this year I included Tsums Tsums that I got on sale since they fit perfectly. You could also put in stickers or any little toy. Then I cover it with tissue paper and a rubber band. I write the day on each pod to countdown. I wrote little sayings on each one “he’s making a list and checking it twice, only… days to prove you are nice!” and the other says “Santa Claus will soon be here, only… days left to show your cheer!”. It’s actually pretty easy and onlinepletely reusable so if that sounds like a lot of work, it isn’t. I wish I could post pictures to explain better.

   This is the first year I made my own out of muffin tins and construction paper. I filled each muffin tins with earrings, necklaces, Hershey kisses and hugs, hair accessories or special notes. The girls liked it tonight and I like that I got new muffin tins when all said and done.

   This looks very cute. I didn’t see instructions for it though. From the photos it looks as if a shirt box was used, small paper cups placed inside…. And did the author place stickers on the shirt box cover?
   I’d love to see detailed instructions on how to duplicate this.

    We made up “Silly Santa”…just silly things we do together each day. I write different things on folded pieces of paper for the 25 days and put them in a jar. Things like decorate Daddy, melting snowman, name that tune w/carols, “marshmallow mouth” (like “chubby bunny”), who can be a sleeping baby Jesus the longest, etc. When the kids were really young, one of the things was to run to all the sinks. We only had 4 but the kids were dying laughing the whole time and kept saying “again, again”. My daughter still says “remember that time we had to run to all the sinks!”…it’s the little things 😉
