Easy Pumpkin Recipe! 4-Ingredient Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Squares

If you’re a pumpkin fan, you’ve gotta whip up these Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Squares that require just FOUR easy ingredients, and a few minutes to prepare! Mixing a can of pumpkin puree with a boxed cake mix has been my favorite go to method for quick pumpkin treats for the last several years.
You can make muffins, or cookies using this genius onlinebination. I think it was originally a Weight Watchers recipe idea.
This time I’ve added a cup of chocolate chips to the mixture and used a 9×13 baking dish to make these delicious squares, almost like a dense yet soft snack cake. I love that this recipe is easy enough for my kids to bake themselves, and they taste SO GOOD!
Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Squares

Ingredients
- 1 box spiced cake mix
- 15. oz can Pumpkin Puree
- 1 Egg
- 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips

In a large bowl, mix all four ingredients until batter is smooth and well onlinebined.

Pour into a greased 9x13 pan, and smooth evenly with the back of a spoon.

Bake at 375 for about 27-30 minutes until toothpick inserted onlinees out clean. Let cool. Cut into squares.
