   I am not overly fond of these lunch boxes. I do not like the ice pack inside of the plastic container. The ice pack melts and the food gets soggy. I have to put all food into other bags or containers. Just something to think about because I didn’t think of that when purchasing this.

   I just recently bought one of these at Meijer. It is going back. The ice packs are poorly located and they are difficult to get out to clean.

   I recently purchased this for back-to-school lunches and snacks. The ice packs do not hold up after an hour or so even in average temperatures in Southern California within its included case, which I also put in another insulated lunch bag. For example, my frozen grapes were no longer frozen. I do not see this as a useful product for items that need to be kept cold, but for PBJ sandwiches, crackers (non-refrigerated items essentially), this will do the job. I second that the ice packs are a hassle to remove and put back in; I just leave them in and wash them while still in the lid.

   I recently purchased one of these for my daughter his school year and I love it. So far o haven’t had any issues with the ice pack except for the fact that it is a little hard to take it out when it’s time to clean it. But I usually get my husband to pop them right out with no problem. My daughter eats lunch very early so her lunch is still cold and everything works out great. I’m purchasing two more so I will have them for next school year.
