Can anyone give us a review? Are these gift worthy?

    • Nicole221

I can’t personally, however every time this is posted I see mixed reviews. I’m always debating it so I’m going to give them a try.

Yes! I love these. I have bought these the last couple of years. My kids each have an 8×10 in their room on an easel. Super cute! Nice quality.

If your photos are good to begin with (you have done some photo editing as needed – light, contrast, sharpen, saturation for example) the results should be great. I have had about 20 of them made, and except for 2 of them where the photo was not placed evenly on the block, they have been beautifully done.

I use the size of my pic files as a guide to find my best quality pics for prints & photo gifts. I open my folder of pics on my onlineputer (in detail view so I can see the file sizes), then sort by file size, then switch back to thumbnail view so I see my pics sorted by file size/quality. Any pics less than 2mb I usually avoid for prints /photo gifts. Pics that are 4mb+ are my preference. Unfortunately many photo editing apps greatly reduce the file size & quality of pics after u edit them. So I make sure to use an app that allows editing without reducing quality (snapseed is a good 1). However, I have had some pics < 2mb that produced good quality prints, but the bigger ones are ideal IMO.

This is basically a regular photo glued onto a wood block. If you are not expecting professional products, these are ok. I’m happy w mine.

I love these but when I got mine they where way cheaper than this

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks for the feedback Misti!

    • riss

Yes! I got mine 8×10 for $5 each, I ordered 5, and when I went to the store for pick-up (twice!) it wasn’t ready, but the email said it was ready, so they gave me 2 frames for free 🙂

I have made dozens of these, not only photos, but sayings and magazine pictures. They were at a better deal. Everyone loves them and they do look a little more than just a framed picture. I understand that some Walgreen’s have better machines than others. They will always re-print them and you don’t have to take them if not satisfied.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for sharing your experience! Glad to hear now nice they are!

    • jlgclassof2000

Right…when they had the free 8×10 wood prints, I was THRILLED with the results! I would gladly pay half price for them also though.

  5. A.Gold

There were some expensive art prints I wanted, that were onlinemon and not copyrighted that I made into these wood panels. They looked terrific and expensive! Great gifts!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh awesome! Thanks for the feedback!

  6. A.Gold
