I think that’s a onlinemon misconception, that if an agent is involved you lose control over your entire trip. We’re here to do as much or as little of the planning as you prefer. One main benefit outside of the planning itself is to serve as a travel advisor and advocate for the guest. We travel to these resorts, continually update our training, work with their managers and supplier staff, and have other industry contacts that we use to ensure our clients have the best experience possible.
During your vacation, should any problems arise, that’s also what we’re here for. You never know when a weather event or airline problem will cause havoc on your plans and we can help navigate that for you so you don’t have to do a thing. I had a client not too long ago that was driving to the airport, post-trip, and her flight was abruptly cancelled. No other flights that day, nothing decent to return on until two days later. While she drove, I rearranged her flights, found her a hotel, and arranged a day trip to a local attraction so she could enjoy the unexpected change of plans. All she had to do was change the address in her GPS and have fun. I specialize in Disney vacations so I’m often helping guests while they are on-site to figure out how to get to a particular restaurant, what to do when they lose a Magic Band, who to call for a prescription delivery, you name it.
Not all agents are the same so it is important to find someone you are onlinefortable working with and then use their knowledge to maximize your vacation time!
