   I got mine off of eBay too. $35. But I want to add, mine is not accurate. The steps counter says I’ve walked 1.3 miles when I’ve only walked a mile. I’m also disappointed in the sleep tracking. I wouldn’t buy it again but maybe I just got a dud.

   My 7-yr old son wants a fitbit for his birthday. I have no idea which one to purchase. Can anyone give advice if they have purchased one for their children? Thanks!

  I don’t know why a child would want one – its pretty boring. I just bought a fitbit flex to track my sleep since I am going through an insominia spell since January. This model displays number of steps, miles, calories burned, glasses of water, hours of sleep (it includes times you awaken, how many times you were restless, and total time you were awake/restless). Some of the other fitbit models do more like display heartrate and time, and text messages. But there is no way to reply. You need a mobile phone or a onlineputer to sync it too (how you enter your calories, etc) Its not very interactive
