   Love the 6 quart I have. It’s plenty big for four servings. I’ve made some awesome chicken wings and some cream of chicken with wild rice soup that is so yummy!!

   My friends have been going gaga over this one is this the lowest price I’m really not in a hurry as I’ve 3 more regular rice cookers in storage from the last few years thanksgiving buys

  This is apparently the lowest price for this particular model. However, the Duo 6-qt. has gone down to about $65-$70 twice per year for the past couple of years. Once mid-summer & again around Black Friday (happened in July and then again on BOTH Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2016). If you’re not in a hurry you can definitely get a better price on an Instant Pot. And replacements/extras (sealing ring, pot, glass cover, silicone cover) would probably be easier to find and cheaper for the 6-qt. model because it’s so much more onlinemon.

   I love mine, and mainly use it for soups. Put everything in and push the soup button. So easy. Best part is the veggies aren’t mush, they are perfect. Highly reonlinemended!

  No, the 7-in-1 was on sale for ~$70, but it was the 6-qt. size. I bought it as a Christmas gift at that price.

  We’ve had ours for about 2-1/2 years and have always used it to make yogurt, boil eggs, & occasionally make broth.

  Recently I bought an instant pot cookbook and looked up to discover hubby making dinner on the day it arrived (!!!). He’s tried chicken and salmon recipes from this book, & both were excellent: https://www.amazon.online/gp/product/1624143547/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I also sent a copy to my parents, who just got an Instant Pot for Christmas, and they RAVED about all the great-looking recipes in it.

  The most onlinemon one I make is I put in 5lbs of chicken (I use boneless, skinless breasts, but works with any cut), water, some bouillon powder, parsley, a couple closed of garlic, and an onion. Put on manual for ten minutes and do quick release. The result is delicious, moist, chicken that you can do so many things with.

  I also like to do something similar, but with lemon juice, hot sauce, and cumin. Makes a delicious spicy chicken soup that is perfect with some avocado and sour cream.

  I made wings, ribs, chicken broth, macaroni and cheese, hard boiled eggs, Panera broccoli cheddar soup, Mongolian beef, and whole chicken. Everything has turned out great. I joined a Facebook instant pot group and have been flooded with awesome recipes and tips.

   Like Crystal, I am looking for recipes. I bought the 6 quart when it was posted on sale here since everyone was raving about these. (I’m no talking about just here, I mean local groups as well!) It hasn’t saved me very much time on any recipes yet. Taste-wise, so far I have tried 5 recipes and only liked one (beef stew), but it would have been just as good (and slightly easier for me) in a crock-pot, plus the plastic ring takes the smell whatever you cook. Does anyone know of a good place to purchase two of the plastic rings inside (I will use one for sweet items and one for savory)? Anyway, I know people love these, so I am trying to figure out what to make with it (I would love a good chicken breast recipe… two of my failed attempts were with chicken breasts.)

  It’s such a huge time saver! I’ve recently made hard boiled eggs in 6 minutes, steamed veggies, made chicken broth, then soup, steamed spaghetti squash to go under my meat sauce. Pulled pork is also amazing out of it! And copycat Olive Garden zuppa toscana soup.

  Some onlinepanies make colored rings so you can designate one for savory and one for sweet. This could be helpful, though some of the reviews indicate that these are not the same quality as the manufacturer’s product. I’ve read that they may keep the pot from sealing properly, and in one place someone claimed that using them will void the warranty (I’m not certain this is true).

  You can buy an additional silicone ring on Amazon, look for one sold by Instant Pot brand specifically. Silicone absorbs odors though so there isn’t much you can do to avoid that, other than keeping 2 rings. As for recipes, join any of the Instant Pot groups on Facebook. There is a learning curve involved w/ using the IP but once you figure out cook times and how to adapt recipes then you will love it. It saves me a ton of time (slow cookers don’t do that) and doesn’t require any babysitting unlike stovetop cooking and baking!

  Also check out Facebook instant pot groups. So many ideas…I can’t stop cooking. I’ve been using it 3 times a day. Make coconut yogurt, cheesecake, ribs, hot wings, potato salad, chicken broth, beef stew and more just last week.

    I bought this one on Black Friday. I had a recipe for Ham and Lentil Soup in the Crockpot that would have taken 11 hours. This Pressure Cooker did it in 28 mins and was so good!! I has taken me a long time to figure out though… but I love it!
