On the subject of calendars, has anyone received the 2017 Pillsbury or Betty Crocker calendars yet? I ALWAYS get mine by now, but this year I haven’t seen either one yet! Getting worried that I might have to (gasp) BUY a calendar for the first time ever.

    • Lo

      Same here 🙁

I received mine. I wouldn’t be too upset, they are really thin and I probably wouldn’t wear them out in public. They are nice for pajamas I guess.

I want to know how busy these days are.. because I’d rather pay and not have to deal with 83726788 people.. anyone know?

I live just outside of Yellowstone and the entrance closest to me is only open during the August and September date. The August free date will be terribly packed, but it would be anyway since it’s still summer. The September free date won’t be as crowded and you’re more likely to see wildlife. It’s well worth saving $30! (Just don’t be one of those visitors that puts a bison in your trunk! Lol)

It’s free and a gorgeous day in nature with your family. Summer days are always busy, but just enjoy being outside and with family. It’s not like Disney where you have to wait for rides.

The bottom pic looks like it was taken at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park in Northern Michigan. Such an amazingly beautiful place. Worth the visit!

Don’t forget, all 4th graders get a free national parks yearly pass, which means it’s good for their entire family to go! Google it and the website will onlinee up!!

Just a thought if you don’t live too far from Canada. In honor of Canada’s 150th birthday, all 47 of Canada’s diverse national parks will offer free Discovery Passes for any and all visitors—Canadian or otherwise—giving them the opportunity to cross the country’s 13 provinces for the duration of 2017. In total, the pass gives access to 171 national parks, marine conservation areas and historic sites. One Discovery Pass per car is all that is required, as opposed to the usual fee of $7 per person per day. Guests are still subject, however, to camping fees and tours with park rangers.
