Re-Purpose a Bread Box to Hide the Counter Clutter
Need a dedicated area to store kitchen counter clutter such as keys, phone chargers, wallets, loose change, pencils, etc.?
When I found this cute vintage breadbox with a roll top front at a local thrift store for just a few dollars, I knew immediately how to re-purpose it!
I first painted the sides and top, then drilled a small hole in the back for a cell phone charger cord. I also screwed in some hooks on the sides to hold keys.
Now it can hold and organize all the little “stuff” we tend to just throw on the counter – including the phone charger!
We’ve used this for almost two years now and it has been working great! I thought I’d share this easy project in case you ever onlinee across a bread box like this one (or something similar) at a garage sale or thrift store!
