   I bought a subscription last year for my wife, an amazing woman who sometimes forgets how beautiful she is. I can tell this little box makes her happy every month, and is a way to help remind her that she’s still my girl, even as we sputter through the daily churn of life.    I signed up and got 1 a few months ago; the samples were single use size, very tiny, not worth it for me at all. I also recently received my first Ipsy glam bag and found it much more substantial. If you haven’t checked out Ipsy, worth looking into. Check your Swagbucks page for offers for Birchbox – I think I signed up with a Swagbucks offer for 1000 points (worth $10)

  I think this offer is a good way to get your feet with subscription services but I was underwhelmed by Birchbox. I actually liked the boxes they came in more than the contents, lol.

   I’ve been getting birchbox for 2 years.The samples are very small,true.But once in a while I would get a costly product I’d been dying to try.Lately though I’ve getting items I have no use for.The fun is getting a suprise every month.I also get Ipsy,LOVE.Recently discontinued my allure box because the samples were all wrong for me.I have joined subscription addiction and love seeing all the new subsciptions available.

  You could try a Sephora Play! Subscription. I have both Birchbox and the Play box. I have always loved BB but they have changed in the last few months and have not had good customer service so I am considering cancelling. Multiple cc charges and weeks passing with no updates to my order status is no fun, but worse when there is no CS rep you can easily contact anymore.

  you should try sephora play, you get good sized samples and it’s also $10, I like it because you get a lot of the more expensive brands to try

    Thank you! Just so that everyone knows this is also available for the Birch Box Men’s box. My college aged son loves subscription boxes so this worked out great. You can also get $2.50 back by using EBates. The best part is that says it will deliver on 12/24 so I can put them under the Christmas tree!
