   In the first scenario, I think you would actually only be paying $3.16 after the coupons, so it would be almost a two dollar moneymaker.

  I think it’ll depend upon your store. She states in the post that it’ll likely auto adjust down because of the gift card.

  Not in my state. The coupons adjust down so you aren’t “making money” so to speak.

   Because you are earning gift cards, Target’s onlineputers now automatically adjust the coupons down. I did this deal the other day purchasing 3 of the Satin Care shave gel for $2.19 each. My $1 off coupons adjusted down to $.52 each on 2 of them and $.53 on the third. So I paid out of pocket $5 and earned a $5 gift card. So no more “money makers” at Target!
   But I’ll still take FREE any day!!! 🙂

  Same here in Central NY. I did this deal on Friday and my coupons also adjusted down to $.52. The manager also walked by the cashier and told her coupons that do not scan can no longer be pushed through. 😔 Luckily all of mine scanned.

   Please keep in mind that these are great items to donate. Feminine care products, too. Everyone donates food items which is great, but personal necessities are really needed as well. Happy Holidays!
