Wow, what a buy. I’ve never seen this for under $40. Great reviews! Thanks Hip!

This sounds silly, but I’ve been wanting a pencil sharpener for a few months. I’m a homeschool mom of 5 and our cheap one from last year broke. We’ve been using a manual sharpener, but an electric one was on my wish list. In fact, just asked my husband this morning if I could use amazon rewards for one. Then was able to get a second Amazon card from my coke rewards after that post from last night. Tonight my husband asked what I wanted got Christmas and I begged him to see I was serious about a sharpener. Now I see this deal… After MCR, it will be 0.99. Thinking I can buy it for myself. Probably only a teacher can appreciate the giddiness!! Thanks, H2S!!

      YW!

The electric sharpener is a Godsend! Kids literally don’t use manual at school and hand ones are so obnoxious. We have a school smart brand one from Amazon that close to 4 years in continues to be great. A tiny convenience that pays off.

Bought this months ago when it was posted on here. So far, so good. We’ve had no issues. However, I don’t generally let the kids do the sharpening. I worry that they’ll be too rough jamming the pencil in or pulling it out. This sharpener feeds the pencil in and out automatically, and my kids might end up breaking the mechanism if I let them mess with it too much.

Thanks for the feedback Lori! Glad to hear it is holding up well for you so far!

  5. Janel

We have had this about 6 months and it works great!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Sweet! Thanks for sharing Janel! Good to know!
