    If you charge on your target visa do you get an extra 5% off? I always thought you did not, but someone posted on Facebook that you do. Does anyone know?

      You can use target visa to purchase target gift for this promo for 10%off. While using that gift card won’t give you the extra 5%off in store (5% only applies to the portion paid with target cc/debit card), you will get extra 5%off on purchases made with that gift card if you have your target cc/debit card info stored as main payment method on target.online. Making it essentially 15%off. Hope that make sense!

    I am going to buy the gift cards then turn around and buy Disney gift cards with them. That’s the only way I can find to save money on going. I had a target gift card already got one today to try it and it worked.

            I’m guessing that it will be a “pain to use” if you have multiple gift cards because you have to provide GC numbers multiple times etc. But as I noted in my other onlinement, you can onlinebine the funds in one card up to $1000 per card. It’s not difficult. Also, I’d suggest purchasing Disney tickets ahead of time through their website to save time. If you own a smartphone, you can save the barcode of the tickets you purchased. Then you can head directly to the gate and they will take a photo of you and hand you the physical ticket there:)

          You can no longer buy disney gift cards with a target gift card online to save 5%. The order will go through and then get canceled. I struggled with this before our disney trip in September. They changed the policy a few months ago.

        Next time, you may want to access disneygiftcard.online. You can create an account there to store all your gift card info and you are able to onlinebine the multiple gift cards in one card up to $1000 per card.

      Be careful doing this. I bought $5,000 worth of disney gift cards from target to save the 5% last summer. Then I had to cancel my trip due to my husband’s emergency surgery. We ended up rescheduling, but for some reason you couldn’t go, you’d be stuck with $5K of Disney giftcards instead of having the money returned to your credit card. I do agree to go online and onlinebine all of the giftcards, it makes payment so much easier! Another thing to consider…. If you charge your trip to your Visa, some cards give free trip insurance, which might outweigh the 5% discount you’d get from the Target gift cards. Enjoy your trip!

        Great tip! Thank you!! I was trying to save 15-20% on my Disney Cruise using discounted Disney gift card. I was thinking of charging everything on it and add a trip insurance but I should just charge a portion to my chase card to cover the entire trip!

          Please everyone, read the onlinements people posted I think it was yesterday with regards to purchasing Disney Giftcards with Target GIftcards. Someone pointed out that Disney Giftcards are excluded. Quoted something, but I didn’t pay much attention to it since I’m not interested in Disney Giftcards.

          When we did this we had the charge the entire amount to our credit card to be eligible for the trip insurance on the card. Just something to check on, I imagine it varies from card to card. Have fun!

            Thank you for the heads up! I have Chase Sapphire Reserve card which provides full Trip insurance for even charging a portion. It onlinees with very high annual fee but the benefit is worth it:)

        I used the chase ultimate rewards visa. We got back a nice amount in travel rewards points that we can transfer to several airlines or hotels. The card also has free trip insurance. It does have a $100 annual fee though, after the first year.

      That worked great for me in my January disney trip. I purchased $300 target gift card and then puchased disney gift card using Target gc. It worked fine for me to purchase ticket at disney. I am not sure, if rules are changed.

      They no longer allow you to buy Disney gift cards with target gift cards.

      I paid for our entire Disney trip with gift cards and had no problems at all. If you cancel you are unable to return your gift cards so that is a risk but you could use those funds for a Disney trip later

      You can’t buy Disney GCs with Target GCs anymore. Also, as someone above said, just onlinebine them all into one card and use one card. We used a Disney GC on all of our shopping last trip and it was just fine.

        I just used a $50 Target gift card to buy a $50 Disney gift card yesterday! I have heard that YMMV. I did it at self check-out and had no problems. You definitely can’t do it online anymore

      If you purchase online, you should be able to get it via email (as e-gift card), text (link to e-gift card will be sent to a phone number), or physical card to an address.

    FYI You can no longer use Target GC to buy Disney GC online. Your order will get cancelled. Most people have reported that in store, you have been able to do it though.

      Yes that is correct. The change was in effect after mid August. While you cannot purchase them online, it seems that we still can in-store. The register allows it but I heard that some cashiers will deny it so probably better to purchase them at self check-out if that’s available at your store.

      The rules say no BUT I did it online by adding one other thing to my purchase. It told me I couldn’t when I only had gift cards in my cart. So I added a .99 pack of wipes and then it applied my $150 giftcards to the purchase of $215 worth of gift cards.

    Omg, it worked. I did 2 orders first being $300 next being $230 in gift cards. I was stupid and didn’t read the max of $300 per household. They came through already though. I added a filler and paid with a target gc. So I turned a $475 gift card into a $530 gift card!! I’m excited!!

    So…pardon me if this has been asked…can I buy target gift cards and then on another day use the discounted gift card to buy restuarant gift cards online from the target website. My “local” target store is 1.5 hours away…so the drive is not convenient!

    Thank you Collin! I was able to purchase the Phillips spotlight for our Nativity paired with the 30% off and added $115 in gift cards. Used an existing $115 in Target gift cards. In total I was able to purchase the spotlight and $115 in gift cards for $114.62
